Collective agreements
Local 437 holds collective agreements covering Saint John, Prince Edward Island, and the Roofers division. These set wages, benefit contributions, hours, overtime and working conditions for every signatory job in our jurisdiction. Working dues run $1.15 an hour off the cheque and counter dues are $60 a month; call the hall to confirm your class.

Benefits & pension
Local 437’s pension is built on per-hour employer contributions on every hour you work under the agreement. Health & Welfare benefits cover members and their families (drug, dental, vision, life and disability) with short- and long-term disability included. Benefits are administered through Manulife / Union Benefits.

Wellness & mental health
SMART provides confidential mental-health and member-and-family support resources, help for stress, addictions, financial pressure and family strain. The trades are demanding work, and reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.
